Capital Region BOCES delivers more than 300 educational and administrative services to its 23 component school districts and to the City School District of Albany. Combined, these districts educate more than 80,000 students in the New York State counties of Albany, Schoharie, Schenectady and Saratoga. In addition, Capital Region BOCES provides many services to approximately 120 school districts outside the Capital Region area. Capital Region BOCES also serves as an education leader, with its District Superintendent serving as a local representative of the NYS Education Department.
